America’s Favorite Gospel Trio VOG to Host Weekly Rod Lawrence Talent Showcase

“The Rod Lawrence Show Presents Who’s Got the Beat Talent Showcase” will kick off from 6-8pm on July 22, and will run every Friday until December, according to show spokesman Bobby Meek, reported Mindy Honey of Branson Tri-Lakes News. The new talent show is set to take place at the Music City Centre located at 1835 West Highway 76, Branson, MO. NBC-TV’s America’s Got Talent finalists Voices Of Glory will host the two-hour talent contest.

Following the talent show, the SGN Diamond Award winning Voices of Glory is slated to perform from 8-10 p.m.

Tickets for both the talent show and Voices of Glory performance are available at the Music City Centre box office for $27. For tickets, call 417-544-9075.

Children from American Kids, an organization known as “a big league for little entertainers” are to be featured in the show and perform the opening act. The talent showcases offers opportunity to aspiring artists to exhibit their talents in front of an audience. Between 15-20 entertainers, comedians, dancers, musicians, etc., will perform weekly.

The semifinal and finale showcases are planned for future TV broadcast, said Meek.

“This is an opportunity to launch a new career,” Meek said. “If you ever had an aspiration to be a star in the local area, here is your chance,” he added.

“Just as we were discovered on America’s Got Talent and with VOG’s recent win of the SGN Sunrise Artist Award, we are thrilled to be a part of another artist’s discovery and future success,” said Michael Cole II of VOG.

“We are looking forward to co-hosting and performing with other talent,” said VOG’s Avery Cole.

“We appreciate the chance to work with Rod Lawrence and American Kids to help other young people like us to live their dreams,” said Nadia Cole of Voices Of Glory.

The talent competition is open to anyone who is 5 years of age or older and not a paid performer in Branson.
